Updates on Blue Cross Blue Shield Letters
Update on Another Blue Cross Blue Shield Letter
Other letters have been sent from Blue Cross/Blue Shield stating Dr. Sowa and Dr. Hines will no longer be covered or a part of your Blue Cross plan as of April 30. Please disregard. As we transition to Lifespan Physician Group, there are technical changes that are occurring that in the end have no effect on any of our coverages. We still accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield. We are still a part of the network. Dr. Sowa and Dr. Hines are not retiring. We apologize for the confusion. Thanks for your understanding and patience.
Clarification Regarding Blue Cross
March 24, 2022: Some of you may have received a letter from Blue Cross that was confusing in regard to coverage. You are still covered by Blue Cross and we still accept your insurance. It involves our transition to Lifespan Physician Group (LPG) and it has led to some confusion. We appreciate your continued patience as we undergo our transition to LPG. For more information on the transition to LPG please see our post above.
Timing for COVID Results
Due to the large demand for COVID testing, it may take up to five days to get a result when COVID tested in our office. This is beyond our control. We apologize for the inconvenience.
