ALS United RI (formerly ALS Assoc RI Chapter) is a local, RI-based organization, supporting patients and families affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). ALS United RI provides comprehensive care and clinical services to improve the quality of life for people with ALS and their families, while advocating for increased support and advancing innovate therapies to end ALS.
The association provides the following patient services and support:
Current information and referrals
Consultations and home visits
Monthly support groups
Equipment loans
Patient advocacy
Transportation for patients who have mobility challenges
