Airports

T. F. Green Airport (PVD) is located in Warwick, six miles south of Providence.

Logan International Airport is located in East Boston, Massachusetts, 60 miles north of Providence.

Bus Service

Parking

Rhode Island Hospital Parking

Hospital visitor parking lots can be found here or you can call the main telephone number 401-444-4000.

When parking on the hospital property, please be aware of the following:

  • If your car is blocking traffic or illegally parked, it may be towed.
  • Parking in hospital fire lanes is prohibited and may result in immediate towing at the discretion of security.
  • The Providence Police will fine any vehicle parked illegally in a handicap space.

Newport Hospital Parking

Valet parking is available at the front entrance of Newport Hospital located at 20 Powel Ave.

Valet Parking

Our valet service, VPNE Parking solutions, uses “TEXT IT IN” giving the ability to text for the pickup and of your vehicle; simply text the ticket number on the front of your parking receipt.

This option covers Hasbro, Ambulatory Patient Center and Medical Office Complex valet locations.

Valet Parking for Hasbro Children’s Hospital

Valet parking is available at the hospital’s Dudley Street entrance when there is a child in the car, with the exception of same-day surgery appointments.

Parking Fees

Pay stations are located inside the hospital entrances for payment prior to returning to the parking lot. You will have 30 minutes from the time you make your payment to leave the lot. We charge modest parking fees to help maintain our parking facilities.

  • Under 30 minutes: Free
  • 30 minutes to two hours: $5
  • Two to four hours: $6
  • Four to 24 hours: $7

On the day and time of your appointment, a $2 parking voucher may be purchased at the Neurosurgery Registration Desk. (NOTE: cash is the only payment accepted.)
