The pediatric ophthalmologists at Hasbro Children’s Hospital provide comprehensive emergency, outpatient, and surgical care for newborns, children and teens through age 21. We treat common and severe disorders, and specialize in intraocular surgery.
Our office is equipped with state-of-the-art, child-centered technology, with two exam rooms designed specifically for children. We also see adults needing treatment for cognitive impairment and strabismus.
Children who fail routine vision screening at the pediatrician's office or at school should be evaluated by a certified ophthalmologist for ocular diseases that may prevent the development of normal vision.
