How the Ticketless System Works
The ticketless system works via text messages on your cellphone. If you do not have a cellphone, you must pay the valet by credit or debit card before you receive your car. Below is a summary of how the system works and what to expect:
- A valet enters the customer's information on an iPad.
- A virtual ticket sent to the customer via text message.
- The customer clicks link in text message to pay the ticket by credit card, debit card, or PayPal.
- After the ticket is paid, the customer can click the text link to request the vehicle.
- The valet is notified in the app to retrieve the vehicle.
- Customer receives a text message when car is ready.
- When the service is complete, a text message is sent that the ticket is closed.
The mailing address for the hospital is:
11 Friendship Street, Newport, RI, 02840.
In recognition of its consistent excellence, Newport Hospital earned its eighth consecutive "A" for patient safety in the spring 2021 Leapfrog report.
