Training Program Coordinator

Sal Monteiro earned a bachelor's degree in arts from College Unbound. Before joining Lifespan, he was a program trainer for the Nonviolence Institute in Providence where he taught and trained the community in addressing conflict and finding healthy solutions. He holds over 25 years of experience in assisting adults and at-risk youth with breaking cycles of trauma, violence and injustices that affect individuals mentally and systematically. 

In his current role as training program coordinator, Monteiro develops and delivers impactful work readiness training, leaving program graduates with life-long, applicable employability skills. He is committed to helping individuals and communities thrive by bridging gaps between education, training, and employment opportunities.
